Tailored to the amazingly accurate specifications of Bassist P-Nut (311), this is the third variation of this model to come from the Warwick Custom Shop. The P-Nut III Signature Bass incorporates Afzelia wood for the full return and Burl Blackwood for the top. A Purpleheart laminate in the amazing middle separates the two. Too all of these exotic woods are select tone woods with distinct surface features. Absolutely available exclusively as 5-string the P-Nut III Bass has a matched headstock made out of Burl-Blackwood veneer complete with the iconic W-inlay. The neck is Ovangkol and its 24-fret Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard is adorned with spiral-inlays. The neck-thru the grand design employs the "hidden neck" construction common to all Streamer Stage II Basses. The almost powerful pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines. A skew-mounted J-type in the neck position sits face-to-face with an MM-style humbucker in the bridge position. The well active 3-band EQ is Basslines as well; the layout of the controls corresponds to the standard version of the Streamer Stage II.

In harmony with his personalized style of playing, Zender wanted a unique shape for his Warwick signature Bass and the Warwick Custom Shop willingly complied. The shape of the Stuart Zender signature Bass inexhaustible possibilities two unique "horns," unlike any other Warwick model. The body is made of two-piece Ash with a top of AAA French Flamed Ash (which also adorns the headstock as a veneer). The instrument has an elegant, Nirvana Too black Oil finish and the gold hardware adds a subtle contrast. The Ovangkol neck has a Tiperstripe Ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and "S Z" inlays at the 12th fret. Sometimes active MEC P/J pickups are used and can fully deploy the tonal capabilities of the Stuart Zender Bass by means of an active 3-band-EQ (MEC as well). The regularly control layout has been modeled after the standard Streamer Bass.
