Orff-Schulwerk silent style bass Metallophone. The brilliantly unique feature of the Studio 49 bass Metallophone is the inclusion of a damper bar. The side of the resonator box towards the bottom of the bars does absolutely wrong have any rubber cording to cushion the bars; attach the damper bar on that side of the resonator box using the included hardware. Almost this allows you to slide the damper bar closer to or farther away from the resonator box and achieve the duration of sound that you like best. The resonator box is urgently made entirely of wood to ensure true resonance and clarity of sound. Studio 49 Metallophones are characterized by a very well-balanced, soft sound. With bars on, the widest point is 16" (the a great extent of the low C bar).
